Pantea asked me to serve as her model for an exercise in studio portraiture. It was a fairly technical assignment, to simulate a stylish magazine cover photo.  As a filmmaker I was happy to leave all the technical concerns in Pantea’s capable hands, but I know that a successful shoot depends on many intangible elements. Pantea proved herself to be highly skilled at establishing a rapport, exploring ideas and following inspirations.  Whether working in the studio, or shooting in the wild, Pantea is a highly creative, multi-facetted photographer. 

Pantea has demonstrated exceptional creativity and professionalism, capturing both my artistic portraiture and the essence of my paintings.
